MVP, proof of concept & National Idea Bank
The early concept and MVP established the foundation of the waste-to-energy platform. Circular Energies' recognition includes winning the National Idea Bank.
Circular Energies · Traction
Award recognition, innovation funding and working reactor installations mark the Circular Energies journey. Our next phase connects those engineering milestones with industrial deployment and Saudi market development.
Company milestones
The early concept and MVP established the foundation of the waste-to-energy platform. Circular Energies' recognition includes winning the National Idea Bank.
A US$35,000 innovation grant supported further technology development through the HEC Innovator Seed Fund pathway.
The one-tonne-per-day system was built and operated under HEC ISF funding, advancing the project from its initial concept to a working reactor.
Company project materials report more than US$150,000 in non-dilutive Innovate UK funding support.
A larger reactor was built and made operational in Sukkur, adding a second development scale to the ECircular platform.
Circular Energies entered the Government of Pakistan's Bridgestart Pakistan Global Gateway Program, including a market-entry agreement and engagement through ONEMORETHING's Saudi expansion programme.

Recognition & collaboration

Media & public engagement
Circular Energies' project materials record interviews and features with more than 12 national media houses. Founder-led engagement has helped explain the technology and the opportunity for industrial energy and waste recovery.
The next development phase
The expansion plan focuses on industrial heat users and waste-management operators. Future deployment counts are roadmap targets.
A pipeline target of three deployments across priority industries, supported by site matching and operating validation.
A target of ten units, with emphasis on manufacturability, team capacity, operating support and commercial repeatability.
A target of thirty units across KSA, the GCC and Pakistan, following successful technical and commercial validation.
These are forward-looking development targets from the 2026 company plan. Achieved milestones appear in the timeline above.
The plan allocates 50% to manufacturing and deployment, 30% to commercial development and key hires, and 20% to R&D, safety validation and localisation. The next stage is centred on validated operating economics and a repeatable Saudi/GCC deployment model.
