He leads CEPL's engineering and commercial direction, strategic partnerships and international market-entry work, with a focus on practical solutions for industrial users.

Engr. Qasim Zia Aulakh holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the International Islamic University Islamabad and a Certificate in Entrepreneurship & Business Management from IBA Karachi.
His CEPL work spans reactor research and design, fabrication, installation, operation and technical supervision. He connects these activities with customer needs, project planning, business development and the practical requirements of commercial deployment.
The Circular Energies journey includes early proof-of-concept work, the National Idea Bank, innovation funding and the development of functional reactors at 1 and 2.5 tonnes per day. International expansion work includes the Bridgestart Pakistan Global Gateway pathway for Saudi market entry.
Alongside the startup, he serves as Technical Expert for Ceramics & Sanitaryware in the R&D Department of the Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce & Industry. This work includes industry engagement, standards and testing support, product development and export-readiness guidance.
His laboratory-consultancy work for the proposed Gujranwala Industrial Testing & Certification Centre includes feasibility and laboratory planning. He is also an approved Local Lead for the NASA Space Apps Challenge 2026 in Gujranwala, supporting local participation in science and innovation.
